A grass fire on Locks Lane in Tamworth sent a smokey haze across the city this afternoon, and attracted dozens of curious onlookers.
Fire crews worked for almost two hours to contain the blaze, after they were called to the scene at about 1pm.
It’s not yet known how the fire started.
