Jacqueline Freney’s sealed the deal for the Australian Paralympic 4×100 metre medley relay team.
The Skennars Head local staged an amazing comeback in the last leg after trailing Russia’s Oxana Guseva by 12 metres.
The 20-year-old’s superhuman effort secured Australia another podium finish and delivered her an eighth gold medal to take home from the games.
