Information from the public has led to a 25-year-old Evans Head man being charged over a serious assault in Taree.
On Saturday June 29, three men left a hotel on Victoria Street and were walking when one of them was allegedly punched by the man.
The 21-year-old suffered a fractured jaw and was taken to John Hunter Hospital for surgery.
The man is due to appear before Taree Local Court next month.
