Manning-Great Lakes detectives are appealing for information, following a serious assault at Taree.
Just before midnight on Saturday, three men left a hotel on Victoria Street and were walking when one of them was punched by an unknown man.
The 21-year-old suffered a fractured jaw and was taken to John Hunter Hospital for surgery.
Today, police have released a CCTV image of man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
He’s described as Caucasian, with a shaved haircut and was wearing a red t-shirt, dark pants and dark shoes.
