SPECTACULAR SKIES ABOVE WILLIAMTOWN FOR AIRSHOW

All eyes were on the sky in Newcastle today, as the Defence Forces put on one of the biggest aircraft spectaculars in a quarter of a century.

Tens of thousands of people flocked to the Williamtown base, to see pilots perform amazing and death defying tricks.

  1. It was a great airshow, we travelled from Tamworth, but taking 2 hours and 45 minutes to get out of the carpark at the conclusion ruined a otherwise fantastic day!!!

  2. awesome air show,, easy to park, easy to leave, just needed to be patient when leaving as is the norm at any large event with this type of parking format

  3. great show great time thank you RAAF we had no hassels getting off the base and back to Port Stephens patients is a virtue that some don’t have.

My 12 year old son and i travelled from Coffs Harbour to see the airshow at williamtown, it was spectacular, better than we expected, thanks to all those dedicated RAAF Personel and the city of Newcastle for putting on a great show. Hopeing you have another airshow in another 20 or so years. we will be there.Thaks again for an awesome weekend.
