A group of troubled youths are about to embark on a boot camp, challenging enough to rival Tough Mudder.
Lismore’s Greater Building Society has donated $33,000 to The Buttery to fund a therapy hike for young people at risk of harm from drugs and alcohol.
“It’s going to help with their equipment and their program, staff support which evidently their staff go along on the track with their students.”
The nine-day adventure will begin in September and take participants on a wilderness safari through the Nightcap Ranges National Park.
