The Group 2 rep side is through to the grand final of the Tier Two Country Rugby League Championships, after a close win against Group 6 in today’s first semi final at Tuncurry.
With 15-minutes remaining, Group 2 was leading by four points.
But it wasn’t long before second rower Alex Peters crossed the line for his team, evening the score at 30-all.
A successful penalty kick put the visitors in front, but the lead was short-lived with Group Two finalising their win.
