FUNDING BOOST FOR CENTRAL COAST MEDICAL SCHOOL

The University of Newcastle has received a huge funding boost, in order to bring more students to the Central Coast Medical School.

Robertson MP Lucy Wicks today announced $3.3 million dollars will go towards an extra 150 places at the uni, over four years.

The $85 million dollar school and research institute will eventually teach 550 undergraduates, and it’s hoped they’ll continue their careers on the Central Coast.
