North Burleigh has taken out the Ocean Roar IRB series after dominating round five at Broadbeach this weekend.
Over 200 surf lifesavers from 16 clubs put their skills to the test in mock rescues and races.
Kurrawa came in at second place for the round and in the overall.
The event, good practice ahead of the State IRB Championships at Mermaid Beach in a fortnight.
