In Newcastle and Hunter rugby, the Tahs are back on track, Hamilton belted Uni and Nelson Bay scored its first win.
The Roos beat the Greens, Wanderers won the clash with Beaches.
The game was a chance for Beaches to raise funds for HMRI, the visitors weren’t feeling charitable.
At times there were more punches than passes.
With the wind at their backs, the Two Blues finally crossed thanks to Andrew Katoa.
On the stroke of half time, Country rep Lewie Catt was heavily involved, eventually setting up Mark Sherwood.
