A Select Committee behind a parliamentary inquiry into the Downsizing of Grafton Gaol released its findings today.
The Committee found that Corrective Services New South Wales did NOT adequately consider the likely impact of the cutbacks on the community.
The report made a number of recommendations – including that the state government help implement economic growth strategies in areas that lose correctional services, such as Grafton.
