The trial of two former senior police officers accused of staging a robbery at the Nimbin Hotel back in 2006, has been postponed after a crown witness went missing.
Wayne Duckworth and former rugby league player Brett Gale were charged with stealing a large amount of cash from the Nimbin Hotel.
Duckworth – the hotel manager at the time – claims he was threatened at gun-point and abducted.
The jury was to be empanelled today, however the case has been adjourned so the witness can be located.
The case has been listed for mention on April 29.
