The Central Coast Mariners are set to make one of the most lucrative sales in A-League history, with midfielder Rostyn Griffiths making the move to a Chinese club.
The 23-year-old has agreed to terms with Guangzhou FC in what stands to earn the Mariners a transfer fee of close to $1-million.
Griffiths, who is coming to the end of his two-year contract with Central Coast, had already rebuffed approaches from Perth and Newcastle.
