Tweed Hospital had a welcome visit this morning from the Gold FM Breakfast crew.
Richard, Bridge and Spida launching their popular ‘Give Me Five for Kids’ month-long campaign – with money raised helping sick children.
“I know for a fact today that we’ve definitely bought at least two heart monitors here for the Tweed Hospital and that’s worth just on its own over $11,000.”
“So mum and dad don’t have to do that trek to Brisbane if unfortunately their child is not well.”
“Every cent counts and you don’t know what’s around the corner – it could be your child next.”
More than $25,000 has already been donated.
Gold Coast Hospital will also benefit.
