I was one of the workers there – actually the only female (hair had been cut off for charity) and the blokes are a good crew to work with. Shame as Tony said – hard to get young ones in – only 3 workers out of 12 working were under 33 yrs of age!
Seems the young lot don’t want to earn their money the hard way anymore!
As the Wool roller working on the table – at 43yrs the next youngest!
And yes, they did some wonderful shots of the place, and so pleased to see a friend of mine – Col Morrow – get his dream of working here – it is a wonderful historic place.

Great story and great people, sad that the younger ones are not interested. I am also glad this place exists so our heritage stays alive.
