A Hunter man has been charged with 27 child sexual assault offences dating back to the 80s and early 90s.
Officers allege the 52-year-old Abermain man assaulted two young boys, one when he was as young as six until the age of 14.
The other boy was aged 12 to 13 years.
The charges include homosexual intercourse with a child between 10 and 18 and offences committed while a victim was under authority.
