SUMMER SURF GIRL CROWNED

After a year of fundraising and promoting surf safety the 2013 Summer Surf Girl has been crowned.
North Queensland’s Tori Demopoulos won the title and will continue as an ambassador for Surf Life Saving.
“It hasn’t sunk in yet its a little surreal but I’m honoured to be crowned this and representing the women of life saving.”
Kirra’s Stacey Ferreira not disappointed in the least at being named runner up.
“I’m happy with what I’ve done and achieved and 20 females have done an outstanding job, we’ve raised over $1 million dollars this season.”
The award for the highest fundraiser went to Alexandra Headland’s Natalie Parker, who raised over $151,000 for her club.
