Tamworth residents looking for ways to keep our planet healthy were treated to a range of options at this year’s Sustainable Namoi Living Expo.
Organiser Melinda McDonald says it’s about making small changes that have a large impact on the environment.
“Sustainable Namoi Living is all about educating and encouraging and inspiring people in the Namoi catchment to live in a way that’s more in tune with the environment, and a way that’s more sustainable.”
Boasting a record number of exhibitors this year, an expo highlight was pedal power, where some good old-fashioned leg work managed to light up the site.
“More and more people are being are becoming conscious that all of us have to play a part, and Tamworth is a community that is very much on board with doing something to help others.”
