A 25-year-old man has been jailed for 10 years over two fatal crashes on the Gold Coast.
Kyle Sheldon fled the scene of a crash at Nerang in 2011 which killed two of his friends.
After the trial he pleaded guilty to a drunken 2009 crash that claimed the life of a father of two on his way home from work.
“As the judge said it’s a callous disregard for life.”
Sheldon will serve at least eight years of the sentence.
