WEATHER UPDATE: FINE AHEAD OF SOUTHERLY CHANGE

Wednesday the 1st of May is going to be fine for most of the region while remaining very warm as the westerly winds build slightly ahead of a fast moving southerly change to move up the coast and across the NW on Thursday.

There will be a burst of showers east of the Divide so the NW is expected to remain dry. There is some cool air associated with the change so temperatures will drop. The shower activity is set to clear for a mostly fine weekend.

There will be a burst of new southerly swell with that change on Thursday.
