A timelapse has captured the arrival of a new barge on Nerang River.
It was moved into position this week, alongside the “Leanora” barge, and will help with construction of the Light Rail bridge.
“The barge is out of the way of navigational channels at the moment, however, it will move every couple of weeks. We just want to make sure people are aware – and make sure boaties are aware.”
The fishing pontoon, North of Gold Coast Bridge, has also been re-opened.
