ARMED ROBBERY AT RAYMOND TERRACE SERVICE STATION

Police say an armed robbery at a Raymond Terrace service station last night lasted less than 20 seconds.
A man threatened two teenagers and a female staff member with a claw hammer, before raiding the till.
The bandit, aged in his 20s and wearing a hoodie, stole a handful of cash.
Police tracked him from Richardson Road to nearby Cunningham Street using a sniffer dog, but then lost the trail.
They’ve recovered a hammer and are reviewing security footage.
