A hand grenade dating back to 1915 has been seized from a garage sale at Casino this morning.
Police were called to the house on Frances Street after receiving a call from a concerned shopper.
Jennifer Hartrick – who owns the grenade – says it’s been passed down to her from her great grandfather.
Police have confirmed it still has a pin in it but are unsure whether it’s operable.
They’ve taken it away for testing.
