The cost of living on the Coffs Coast is on the rise according to statistics released as part of this year’s regional census.
The most notable hike, the price of property rentals.
Five years ago, the average rental in Coffs Harbour was worth $180 per week.
Now, that has increased by 72 per cent to an average of $250.
It’s a concerning trend for the area, with the census also revealing the average family income is on the slide.
