Grace and poise were on display at the Civic Theatre today as the Melbourne Ballet Company warmed up for their first ever performance in Newcastle.
Locally born Simon Hoy has spent the past few years choreographing the ballet.
“It is a very dynamic powerful, athletic, fluid performance, some of our dances have world experience.” Hoy said.
They’ll take to the stage tonight and tomorrow night.
