Local athletes have teed off, with around 50 of the Gold Coast’s homeless youth for a Charity Golf day at Royal Pines.
The event raising almost $10,000 to help three local services deliver life skills programs that’ll help young people get back on their feet.
“It means that we can actually get some awesome outcomes with young people who wouldn’t normally get to participate in these sorts of programs”
Approximately 650 young people are without a home on the Gold Coast on any given night.
