Gold Coast Council has launched a new plan to protect our beaches into 2023.
The Draft Ocean Beach Strategy outlines management options for the coast’s 52 kilometres of beach.
Including maintaining and strengthening the Coast’s boulder wall and sand dunes.
“The last month of cyclonic weather its a wake up we have to future plan now whether its artificial reef or other engineering solutions to protect our beaches.”
