Byron Bay’s AFL side the Magpies went down by one agonising point yesterday to Bond University in the South East Queensland Division Four Preliminary Final.
Byron kicked themselves out of the comp, with the ball hitting the posts five times.
Bond Uni will now take on Tweed Coast in the Grand Final on Saturday.
