There’s been a dramtic rescue on the Gold Coast, where a teenager had to be revived after getting into trouble in the surf.
Friends saw the boy floating motionless on the surface before they dragged him to shore to perform CPR.
“I nearly lost my son.. it is heavy mate.”
It’s believed the boy suffered a seizure.
Did this happen in Broadbeach? I pulled a 18yr old by the name Max that’s all I know about him his fathers friend took my number but I hadn’t heard anything and want to know that he is ok

The 24th of March 2013 was the worse day of my life. When i saw my son Max’s lifeless body being carried out of the water at broadbeach. He was found in the surf by Ryan who brought him in and raised the alarm He was revived with CPR on the beach my one of my mates Adam and the lifesavers. These guys are my hero’s He is now in the intensive care unit. Max has stabilized and there are positive signs . He still has a long way to go. We will no more in next couple days . Please everybody pray for my Son Max Stevenson.
