There’s been a major upset at round two of the Quicksilver Pro, with Lennox Head surfer, Owen Wright, eliminated by Hawaii’s inform Dusty Payne.
A fighting fit Payne set up the win with a heat high 8.67 to claim victory by one tenth of a point.
That means Wright will finish the competition in equal 25th.
