Virgin Blue’s decision to axe its early morning flights to and from Coffs Harbour over the next few months, has come as a shock to the local community.
While council says it’s a backward-step, the discount carrier says it’s had to reschedule the service because it’s in the process of selling aircraft which they’ve found to be uneconomical to their operations.
Does this mean Virgin will re-start their early morning flights at some point in the future?
Talk about incompetent public relations. Having already booked an early morning flight (for a medical appointment in April) we learn about this on the NBN TV news. No message from Virgin.
Virgin changed their boss (heaven forbid, someone from Qantas!) and they’ve been a mess ever since. Bet he doesn’t last long.
