Two teenage boys have handed police almost $100,000 cash they found during a fishing trip at Tuntable Creek, north of Lismore earlier this month.
The boys recently told a carer about their ultimate catch and, after seeking legal advice, contacted police.
Police are looking for the owner of the money.
