TWO SITES RECOGNISED FOR ABORIGINAL SIGNIFICANCE

Two new sites on the Central Coast have been formally recognised for their special significance to Aboriginal culture.
The Darkinjung land council say it’s another vital step forward for the conservation of Aboriginal sites in the area.
Hi, I could not get the video to play and neither could my friend. Would appreciate if you could check it to see if there is a problem your end, thanks, Noel
Together a bunch of us found out what the problem is: it will not run in Firefox or Safari or Chrome or Android, seems it will only run on Internet Explorer. These days things should work across all platforms and devices. Regards Noel Plummer
What “future developments” is Sean Gordon refering to??? Given the “Land” Councils past record for selling sacred sites to be bulldozed and built over, those two words concern me and others greatly. Hopefully he is just in auto-pilot when it comes to thinking about development and he didn’t mean anything by it….. When it comes to destruction of our beautiful bushland to make a quick dollar, locals have a very, very long memory. “Future developments”???? Hmmmmmmmmm
I agree with Jake, ” future developments ” doesn’t sound like the traditional caretaker role …. to me it sounds corporate and certainly not Aboriginal culture.
