GAV’S WEATHER: APRIL A RECORD BREAKER

Sydney experienced it’s hottest April on record, with many hot and dry weather records broken across large areas of south-east Australia.

The coast has seen most of the cloud cover today as the showers continue, dominating the area between Newcastle and the Mid North Coast.

Another large high will move in over eastern Australia clearing the coastal cloud, with the start of may set be mostly dry.

The dry weather will continue inland as you move across the North West, while temperatures will also increase.
