WINGHAM AKOOSTIK FESTIVAL READY TO MAKE NOISE

Campers have begun rolling in to the small country town of Wingham, ahead of this weekend’s annual Wingham Akoostik Festival.
More than 5000 music lovers are expected to pack into the town’s show ground.
“I love it because the whole community gets behind it, it’s not just us, we’ve got the rural firies tomorrow directing the parking, we’ve had Tafe kids here doing snaps of videos to put up for us on Facebook.”
Headline acts include Daddy Cool frontman Ross Wilson and Shannon Noll.
