A 28-year-old Tamworth man was arrested overnight after allegedly strangling another man with an electrical cord.
Police say the man broke in to a Macquarie Street home, attacking the victim when confronted.
He’s been charged with a number of offences, including aggravated break and enter and committing a serious indictable offence.
