OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALIST VISITS RAYMOND TERRACE SCHOOL

There was the ultimate ‘show and tell’ session at Irrawang Public School today, with Rio sailing gold medallist Tom Burton speaking to students.

The visit was organised by his sister, who’s a teacher at the school.

After giving a lesson on how hard work pays off, Tom also received a merit award – along with other students – in recognition of his Olympic achievement.
