Organisers of this year’s Newcastle Writers Festival are anticipating huge crowds, with a record 140 writers signed on to present at the event.
Officially launched today, the festival will have a special focus on memoirs, featuring some of Australia’s most respected writers and public figures including Kerry O’Brien, Tim Flannery and Rosie Waterland.
The program for this year’s festival will be available online tomorrow morning.
