Further south, moderate to major flood warnings are still in place for the Manning, Macleay and Hastings Rivers.
Later this evening, the Hastings River at Kindee Bridge is expected to exceed the minor flood level of three metres, while the Macleay River at Georges Creek could reach more than six metres.
The SES has already received more than 100 calls for assistance, and with heavy prolonged rain and strong winds predicted to continue, they remain on high alert.
