LISMORE MAN ARRESTED OVER ARSON ATTACK
Police have arrested a Lismore man over a robbery and arson attack that caused around $250,000, worth of damage to a South Lismore business.
It’s alleged the 26 year-old broke into the Habib Street engine workshop at about 5 o’clock on Monday morning, where he stole a rifle and ammunition and set the premises alight.
The man has been charged with destroying property, aggravated break and enter and a number of firearm offences.
He was refused bail and will re-appear at the Lismore local court on the 25th of January.
