Northern United Rugby Club is seeking council’s approval to host an Indigenous All-Stars rugby clash at Oakes Oval this June.
The match would see two Bundjalung teams split into north and south divisions and go head to head on the turf.
The inspiration for the carnival is drawn from the success of last year’s Indigenous knockout clash in Byron Bay.
