BODY OF MOTORCYCLIST FOUND MORE THAN 30 HOURS AFTER ACCIDENT

The body of a 24-year-old motorcyclist has been found in bushland in Nelson Bay more than 30 hours after he was thrown from his bike.
Police say the man was riding his motorcycle along Nelson Bay Road at around 4 o’clock on Friday morning, when he lost control and slammed into a tree.
Mountain bikers discovered the man’s body yesterday.
Police say the rider reached speeds of up to 160 kilometres an hour before the accident.
