It was an educational day at the beach for little tourists at Rainbow Bay.
Surf Life Saving Queensland hosted pop-up clinics, taking full advantage of the school holidays, to teach kids the basics.
“How to catch a wave on a boogie-board.”
“Duck-diving.”
“They go to swimming lessons in Scotland and I’m keen for them to learn about the water and how dangerous it potentially could be.”
The free lessons will move to Burleigh Heads and Tallebudgeera next week.
