A unit at Mermaid Waters has suffered smoke damage after a fire broke out in a bedroom this morning.
Gardeners evacuated the Aquila Court building then turned hoses on the blaze before firefighters arrived.
In took three crews 20 minutes to extinguish the fire.
Nobody was injured.
