A 20 year old man from Woolgoolga has faced court charged with shooting with intent to murder, after allegedly shooting a 34 year old man in the head on Wednesday evening.
Police alleged Daniel Baird shot the man while he was sitting in his vehicle, with his girlfriend and their three children.
The family had just returned home from Woolgoolga headland, where the father of the victim’s girlfriend had drowned.
Baird was denied bail, and will reappear in court on the 26th of February.
