WOULD BE ROBBER RELEASED FROM JAIL

A bumbling would-be robber, who gave up on his crime, after being pelted with cans of corn kernels, has been released from jail.
In October 20-11, police launched a manhunt for Andrew Finn, who had held a knife to a Benowa convenience store worker, and demanded cash.
The worker fought back, throwing food and water bottles at him.
The amateur attempt ended with Finn’s arrest, after he was followed by a witness.
He’s been sentenced to three years jail, but due to time already served, was released on parole today.
