EXPERTS MEET FOR FIRST TIME TO DISCUSS WILLIAMTOWN CONTAMINATION

A team of experts, including the NSW Chief Scientist and Engineer, has met for the first time to discuss the contamination linked to RAFF base Williamtown.
The group has been tasked with the job of investigating the nature and extent of contamination from fire-fighting foams decommissioned in 2008.
Results from testing undertaken on bore water, oysters and fish will be examined and will be provided to the panel at its meeting next week.
