Lifesavers were kept busy today with more than 10 people getting into trouble in choppy surf up and down the Coast.
This group had to be rescued at Surfers, after being pounded by unrelenting waves.
But the rescue wasn’t easy, with lifesavers having to battle the whitewash to get the swimmers to safety.
