Inspirational, passionate and full of life are just a few of the words that best describe Newcastle man, Tom Dow.
Despite suffering from a debilitating disease, he tries to live every day to the full – and that usually means searching for the next thrill.

Hi,
I just watched Tom’s story on NBN news and found him to be an inspirational man that seemed to have a great sense of humour and and had a lot to say.
I just wanted to make sure that Tom knows there are communication devices out there that would allow him him to have his own voice and it could be attached to his wheelchair and used in addition to his current alphabet board? I realise that Tom may have already explored these options but some people are unaware of the technology available to them.

This is only a fraction of what Tom is all about! Personally knowing Tom and working with him for some time, Tom taught me that the things in life are never as bad as they seem and regardless of what happens in life, you just need to get up and get on with it. Your a legend mate and will always be a very important part of my life
