A Coffs Harbour beach has been named one of the best in Australia, in a new book.
Authors Andrew Short and Brad Farmer from the Surfrider Foundation say even though Diggers Beach is just one kilometre in length, it’s rarely crowded, and is charming.
It was listed 13th in the top 100, and is now in contention for the People’s Choice Award.
Beaches were judged on sand and surf quality, bordering headlands and local amenities.
